  • E118sw 18″ Passive Subwoofer

    The E118sw is a high-performance direct radiation subwoofer with a single, 800W, 18-inch, aluminum frame woofer. It’s designed to produce crushing low-end for live performance with kick-drum and bass in the PA or for high-level, high-energy dance music. A threaded, M20 pole socket and speaker pole are provided for sub/satellite use with any of the E Series two-way models. For portable applications it includes attachment points for four optional casters. The subwoofer’s 4-ohm impedance means that a single woofer can be optimally powered by a less expensive amplifier.

    Suitable for touring or fixed installations, the cabinets are constructed of 15mm 11-ply Baltic Birch with heavy internal bracing for reduced resonance and better durability. The enclosure is covered in a black carpet covering and incorporates metal corner protectors, rugged curved anti-resonant metal grilles, and 1/4″ or Speakon™ input connectors. An optional finish of black ultrathane paint (LS1208B) is also available. Additionally, the Speakon™ connectors feature a configuration switch which allows instant reversal of Speakon™ jack pinouts for easy single wire hook-up using optional four wire Speakon™ cables. The LS1208 includes tilt-back wheels and top/rear mounted corner handles for better maneuverability and stacking.

    The VTX B18 is JBL Professional’s next-generation single 18” subwoofer, designed to complement VTX full-range sound reinforcement systems. The VTX B18 features JBL’s new 2288H 18” woofer, engineered for improved linearity, increased sensitivity and extra-long excursion. The 2288H is based on JBL’s Differential Drive, dual voice coil, dual-gap technology, which delivers better heat dissipation, lower power compression and wider dynamic range than conventional single-coil designs.     The VTX S28 can be suspended or ground-stacked and is cardioid-arrayable in either configuration for improved rear rejection. Compatible with VTX V25 suspension, S28 can be suspended at the top of V25 arrays to extend the effective low frequency line length, providing improved vertical pattern control combined with improved rear rejection when used in cardioid mode.
